No. Some use the forums as advertisment, or platforms for the way into the business, but afaik both VAC and VAA are for hobby voice acting and many are only amateurs, if not even less than that.

Well, Patty Allen at VAC would definitely want money for her work. But I guess that we just need to state in the audition that it's an unpaid fan project, and see who's interested. That worked for White Feathers, after all.

BTW: I don't get notifications - again, or still

why don't we think about adapting TFaS as an audio play? I would suggest starting completely from scratch and only loosely basing it on the RP. We could work out the plot for each episode collaboratively - you, me and Arch - and I would do most of the writing, with you guys having input and final say on your characters' dialogue.
We could do that. TFaS has a considerably small cast - which could make things easier on the non-paid-sparetime-VA level.

As WF episodes take so long to produce - well waiting for lines does take 98% of that time. I was wondering if to break it down to 10 minutes parts. Thinking in chapters, days, or other larger "categories" might be too limiting anyway. Serving any random audiience with quickly increasing amounts of content might raise attention and/or popularity automagically.

Ten to fifteen minutes sounds fine to me. How long have the WF episodes been?

Around 20 minutes. Ep 3 for some weird reasons keeps getting longer, by the scenes produced o_0 almost reaching 30 min.

So what about Arch and Ifrit? Are they still interested in the TFaS thingy?

Ifrit seems very busy at the moment and will likely stay that way for the foreseeable future. I think Arch would be happy to participate in the episode planning.

I would suggest that we create another bounty hunter character to fill the part Ren (Ifrit's character) was going to play - ie chasing our heroes for the pirates and/or the Empire.

So these episode things, they're separate from the TFaS RP?

I think they would follow the same basic storyline we've worked out for the RP - Josh is living on Rudrig, Cerena comes to the store, she tells him she's a Jedi and that he has Force sensitivity. We have a flashback to Cerena's childhood and upbringing in the Jedi Order, leading to Order 66 and the life she's been leading since then. Then we return to the present. Josh's training begins. He meets Carr, and we have a flashback to how Carr and Cerena met. Cerena and her apprentices decide to go look for the Stardrifter, but the Imperial blockade around Brigia deters them. They go the other direction along the Outer Rim for the time being, to avoid the Imperials.

That would be about four or five ten-minute episodes, I think, if not more.

Considering the amount of time it takes to produce one episode, I don't think we'd be in any real danger of catching up to the 'present' in the RP any time soon.
