 Kana lyrics
Believe ~round eyes~
1.
There is a row of roofs dyed deep red, I like the twilight
We are holding our hands and we intentionally take the long way home
The song you always sang to me, the song I just learned, is like a warm wind
The image of your kind, gentle smile is still fresh in my mind
Since that time, we haven't spoken to each other (1)
Actually, nothing has changed, nothing has happened
When I lay down in my bed, I remember his warm touch and
I thought this innocent happiness could continue forever
However, the twilight brings heartrending sorrow
Round eyes, please tell me why they fill with tears
2.
The first time I saw the ocean, I was afraid of the waves,
and when you held me, my heart began to race
I believe, I believe, even though we can't take time back,
The brilliance of that day remains in our hearts
So stay here and don't leave me
Round eyes, oh, I want, I wish to keep
Those distant memories
Those distant memories
(1) Here, she mentions "that time," from what we're able to understand, we're assuming it's some moment, but the lyrics give no specifics
========================================
For You
1.
In the late afternoon, on the quiet table
The lemon grass seems to be waiting for someone
The rhythm of the ticking flutters
I am concerned about the clock's hands (2)
When you come up from the subway, you could see it right away
The street twinkles (3)
Chorus:
A shirt flutters in the sky and the trail of clouds grow longer
I open the window and reach out, and I'm captivated by the bright voices outside
Wearing white sneakers, I want to run as far as I can
The smell of the wind, the feeling of the baby grass
Look, now I am alive
2.
Even though I can choose this way or that way to tell you,
whichever way it is, it is the real me
I'm sorry, I've troubled you so many times
Your bright eyes look down (4)
All of us need a place to rest
I know it well
I flip through the pages of the old diary, I feel a little bit ashamed
In the faded characters, I see myself back in the old days (5)
I was so innocent, and I miss it
Next time, I will say, on a lonely night, be with me
I won't turn around, I won't get lost
Those are beautiful memories
Chorus:
A shirt flutters in the sky and the trail of clouds grow longer
I open the window and reach out, and I'm enticed by the bright voices outside
Wearing white sneakers, I want to run as far as I can
I see myself sweating, I feel myself panting
So for sure, I am alive
I'll live for you till then
Footnotes (by Potade)
(2) The idea is she's waiting on each minute, waiting for Taka
(3) In reference to the bright lights, neon signs, lamps, etc which line city streets
(4) Literally "look down" but more like "look away (in a downward direction)"
(5) Actually, it's supposed to be more of a transporting her back to the old days, and not actually remembering the old days
========================================
Both of these were graciously done by Potade on the GameFAQs Kana forum...since GameFAQs has issues with deletion of older threads, it's hard to keep certain things going...so for posterity, I was allowed to repost them here.

The White Season
Lyrics: Sara Yajima
Music: Hechima
English translation copyright G-Collections
English translation
Two silhouettes standing on the top of the hill.
The wind is blowing.
I feel like crying in the silence.
But I mutter, "I'm OK", looking up at the floating clouds.
We open the door to the white season with two tickets in our hands.
I don't need anything. I just want to keep looking at your profile.
I want to know our future. I wish I had a mirror, which shows our future.
My feeling is flowing out of my trembling heart.
Please colour me as you want.
I don't know why, but it's so clear.
We understand each other. We're meant to be together.
I silently wait for you like a little bird.
When the fruit of the tree pops, something will begin to change.
As I trace your name with my finger, I smile.
Please grant my slight hope before it fades away.
In my dream, I sleep in your arms.
We open the door to the white season with two tickets in our hands.
I don't need anything. I just want to keep looking at your profile.
I want to know our future. I wish I had a mirror, which shows our future.
My feeling is flowing out of my trembling heart.
Please colour me as you want.

 Re: Kana lyrics
There's a typing error in the transcription, in the second line of the fifth verse. Here it should read "Amai kinomiga" instead of "Amai konomiga", since the original Japanese text has the kanji character 木 ( ki), meaning 'tree', in that place. I just tried to make up a new transcription of the song to get it in tune with the Hepburn system. I also added some more spaces between the words to make it easier to recognize them. Shiroi Kisetsu

If I made any mistakes, please go ahead and correct me. And if you would like to compare with the Japanese original, it can be found right here. This link doesn't seem to work anymore. So I added the Japanese texts down below.

 Re: Kana lyrics
To complete this thread, I thought I could add the Japanese lyrics of the other two songs ( Believe and For You) as well. This is the text as it is contained in the help file of KLS. And this is my own transcription, trying to correct a few typing errors, adding more spaces between the words and getting it in tune with the Hepburn system. Tsuburanahitomi

That's one thing that always bothered me about the 'official' G-Collections version of the Japanese lyrics. Even I could see that the words were way too long and needed to be broken up. Thanks for the fresh transcriptions. =)

 Re: Kana lyrics
Surely those tapeworm-like constructions aren't really suited for westerners' eyes. I remember I had a hard time trying to look up the Japanese words in a dictionary, not knowing where one word ends and the next one starts. Only after I had found the Japanese original text I finally was able to make some progress in understanding the lyrics.
Now I just hope that I didn't make too many mistakes in my transcriptions. Sometimes I wasn't really sure about the grammar, so I left things like "kayōwaseteru" or "modoranakutemo" just the way they were without further trying to split them up. And then there are fix expressions like "tsuburanahitomi" that I left unchanged as well. But after all I think the text is now a little easier to read than before.
