It seems that a quite a lot of manga have the issue to drag on after a couple of good chapters. Like they are afraid to bring the whole thing to an end and be done with it. It was the reason I lost a bit interest in this one. Actually I found the repeating structure in the beginning acceptable. He's playing games and it's a repetive process as well.
With
TWGOK I had the impression, just when the story was about to get boring with too much repetition, they introduced some new elements into the storyline to prevent that. Tenri falling in love with Keima for real, goddess Diana revealing herself, evil Nora showing up - there are enough of unresolved puzzles in the background of the plot now to keep the whole series interesting even beyond the usual short story arcs.

I found
"Kimi no Iru Machi" intriguing until the story (now) again sort of drags on or uses fillers to keep the protagonist from going to Toyko in order to find Eba.
So would you recommend this one? Maybe I'll give it a try as soon as I'm finished with the manga I'm working on right now.

Concerning translators. My best guess is, they do not care as much as you might do. Esp when they are young and translate, or rip data for 'fame', or due to it being the trend thing of the moment.
I was just surprised to find mistakes like that

Billy-thing where even a beginner like me would be able to figure it out, while the translator, who should know Japanese much better than I do after all, didn't get it.
